Dr. Shashank Prabhu
Shashank is an MBBS graduate (yes, that kind of a doctor! One who maintains he is saving lives by not practising!) from the prestigious Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals in Mumbai. While pursuing his graduation in the 2000s, he realised the importance, scope, and potential of management education and so decided to pursue an MBA himself to impact a larger population.
He did his MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi and joined ITC as an Assistant Manager for Sales. After a couple of impactful years, he decided to venture into training aspirants for MBA entrances in India and abroad and co-founded Learningroots. After a successful stint as the Director for MBA in India for IMS, Shashank is now focusing on his next venture i.e. Point99 where he intends to make CAT prep fun, easy, and meaningful for all the aspirants who are ready to give it their best shot!
What makes Shashank so popular among the MBA aspirants that has led to them following his social media handles (LinkedIn, Quora) with their queries and requests? For one, he believes in practising what he preaches and makes it a point to take as many entrances as he can every year.
He is a CAT 100%iler, a 7-time MBA CET 99.99%iler, a 3-time IIFT 100%iler, has scored a 297 at the NMAT, and boasts that his lowest XAT percentile is 99.92! among other successes.
Not someone to hold back, he is candid about his methods and believes in sharing all that he knows with the aspirants. He derives immense satisfaction from teaching students (and also peers, sometimes) about the various concepts and mundane things in a fun way. He is the brains behind the concepts and content at Point99 and is sure to impress you with his intellect and wit.

Prachi, is the Co-Founder of Point99 Learning, a platform transforming MBA test prep through accessible, high-quality guidance.She currently leads partnerships and strategic collaborations at Point99, forging impactful alliances with B-schools, test prep institutes, and media platforms to expand the company’s reach and value to students. Under her leadership, Point99 has built a strong ecosystem of trusted partners and continues to scale through innovative, purpose-driven collaborations.
With over a decade of experience, she has held leadership roles in strategy and partnerships at IMS Learning Resources, Takshashila Solutions, and Eruditus Executive Education.
Her background also includes organizing high-level global policy dialogues at Gateway House: Indian Council of Global Relations and early research roles at Vivin Technology and Hewlett-Packard. She brings a proven track record of building impactful educational initiatives and driving cross-sector collaborations.

Our founder, Dr. Shashank Prabhu comes from a humble background and a family where education wasn’t encouraged till a couple of generations ago. Shashank had to figure out a lot of things on his own in the pre-internet era...
He also saw a lot of students with potential not doing justice to their calibre simply because they did not have access to quality information and knowledgeable and encouraging mentors...
